Ring-Master Intercom System
The Ring-Master intercom system is one of the most widely used intercom systems in the world and is utilized in some of the world's largest intercom installations. The systems, with upgrades in technology, have been in use for 50 years. Systems are installed in airports, building elevators including the Empire State Building and Rockefeller Center, refineries and power plants and many hospitals.
The Ring-Master can be designed to support a small department or wing and can be expanded to support over 7000 stations. The Ring-Master 901 can be expanded to include 30 networked nodes to support communications between multiple buildings in a campus environment. The Ring-Master is a microprocessor controlled system which satisfies Electro Magnetic Compatibility requirements which are a concern in many medical and industrial facilities.
Hospital applications include surgical suites, radiology, emergency departments and laboratories. The systems can support communications, security and maintenance operations. The intercom systems provide an alternate communications path to the telephone system.
The system is equipped with many features including group calls, hands free operation, Talk button for forced one way communications into noisy environments, conferencing and hunt groups.
