Executone

Executone Health Care Platform
The HCP marks the end of multiple, incompatible Healthcare communications. The HCP is an upgradeable, modular set of facility wide components in a single integrated platform.

The HCP platform supports all the following applications:

  • Nurse call with the CareCom IIe
  • Digital telephone system and intercom system
  • ILS Locator system
  • Events Processing
  • Wireless Telephones
  • Management Reports

The HCP is built on the Executone IDS digital telephone switch. This allows for simple distribution of patient calls to both nurse master stations and staff terminals, which can act as duty stations, intercom stations and telephones. It is this combination of functionality which provides more system for less expense.

Integration with the ILS locator system allows staff the means of locating and communicating directly with fellow staff via the master of staff terminal stations.

Events processing provides timers on located patients or equipment if control over times spent in given locations is desired. Also if limits of access of wandering patients or equipment are desired, the system will generate alarms.

Executone LifeSaver

The HCP allows staff to train on one system, maintain one system and upgrade one system never fearing loss of ease of use, function, service or cost efficiency.

Executone, which in 1947 developed the first nurse call system with a voice path, revolutionized healthcare communications with the development of LifeSaver, a fully software-driven, digital nurse call system. Flexibility is the cornerstone of the LifeSaver system, allowing it to meet any facilities communications requirements. LifeSaver can be configured for centralized, decentralized or parallel operation of nursing areas depending on a facility's needs or preferences.

LifeSaver's central equipment digitally processes all patient calls and staff functions for immediate, appropriate responses. The nurse control station allows for simple, intuitive answering of patient calls. The calls are identified and prioritized in plain English. Communications are completed with a single touch of a button. If and when the nurses station is unmanned, the "nurse follow " feature enables nurses to respond to calls from anywhere on the floor, through either duty or patient stations.

The LifeSaver system is capable of supporting further decentralized through integration with the ILS integrated locating system and pocket paging systems.

The ILS system, using infrared technology to locate staff, equipment and even patients quickly and easily, can increase the efficiency of a hospital dramatically. The directory of staff locations can be displayed on the nurse control station of on PC's. By communicating directly to needed staff overhead paging is eliminated, enhancing patient comfort.

Pocket pager can be used to display alpha-numeric messages to assigned staff of patient calls showing patient room, name, and type of call. With this information caregivers can quickly respond to a patient's needs.

Integrated Management Reports allow easy and accurate evaluation of work flow and patient call response times. Reports based an a patient, room number, staff member or staff type covering any timeframe desired.

The LifeSaver system performs regular self diagnostics so any problems with the system are quickly identified. The system is supported by remote repair and programming, greatly improving service response times.

IdeaCom provides an intelligent partnership of technology and customer support, all part of the LifeSaver nurse call system solution.
