The Ascom Medic phones comes in two versions – simultaneous voice/messaging communication and add-on alarm function. Every Ascom system is fully compatible with earlier versions.

The Ascom 9d system offers highly versatile cordless telephony for healthcare units, which improves the accessibility and efficiency of the staff. By combining advanced messaging, telephony and alarms in one unit, it reduces the number of portables to be carried.

Because patients have trouble distinguishing a DECT phone from a GSM, we have colored our Ascom Medic handsets white and produced an information package for public areas.

Ascom Wireless Solutions Inc. (AWS) a leading provider of on-site wireless communications solutions, will be introducing the FreeNET Voice over Wireless Fidelity (VoWiFi) communications solution in the first half of 2006.
